(where to put this) Jacob said a couple weeks ago the church is the people. 3 co pastors jacob asked question what if 3 pastors can’t agree on something, then who makes the call. They responded if 3 pastors can’t get on the same page how can they ask 300 to do so. So how do we lead going forward. What if we ran every decision, every question through the filter of which decision will help the most people come to Christ or save them from hell and we went with that direction. Then if it didn’t seem that it would neccessarily go either way, we trust the leader we have given oversight or authority to of that ministry? I once had a board member that complained about multiple decision that a youth pastor was making. The board member wanted me to tell them in each case that they couldn’t do it. After the 3rd or 4th time I said it seems to me that you don’t think our youth pastor should be employed here. No, no, no that’s not what I’m saying… To which i replied if we can’t trust their leadership, if i’m going to question every decision, then i have the wrong person in place.
