Introduction

Have you ever wrestled with guilt and shame ? to people it can be ignored but not to a holy God.

It is consistency with scripture

Hebrews 4:15 ESV
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
John 8:46 ESV
Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?
John 18:38 ESV
Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.
Isaiah 53:5 ESV
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

He made a perfect sacrifice for mankind.

1 Peter 1:18–20 ESV
knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you
Hebrews 7:26–27 (ESV)
For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.

Christ is every believers wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

1 Corinthians 1:28–31 ESV
God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

conclusion

The sinlessness of christ is to bring light to a tunnel of guilt and sorrow over sin, it speaks of one who is sinless yet he died remove guilt from a sinner who looks to him faith.
it answers the question of “what should i do with my guilt feeling due sin ? lay it on the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
