Love

God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loves us, so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes (Clings to, Trust In, and Relies) on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (1) For the Father Himself Loves us, because we Love His Son Jesus, and believe that He came forth from God. (2) Behold, what manner of Love what manner of Love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God. (3) Can anything separate us from the Love of God, such as tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who Loved us. We are persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (4) That’s why we Love Him, because He first Loved us. (5) He is the one who delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. (6) We have been crucified with Christ; we are no longer the ones who lives, but it’s Christ who lives in us; and the life we now live, we live by the faith of the Son of God who Loved us and gave Himself for us. (7) Therefore we must keep ourselves in the Love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (8) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but it’s faith that works Love. (9) For without faith it is impossible to please Him. For He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (10) Therefore we know that those who seek Him diligently will find Him. (11) Jesus is telling us,” If anyone Loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will Love Him, and We will come to him and make our home with him.” (12) For whoever keeps and meditates on His word, truly the Love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. (13) And we have experienced this Love of God that has bee poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (14) The Holy Spirit is the One who makes intercession for us according to the will of God. And this intercession makes all things work together for good to us who Love God, who are called according to His purpose. (15) The fruit of His Spirit in us is Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (16) For this is the Love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. (17) So if we keep His commandments, we will abide in His Love, just as He kept His Father’s commandments and abided in His Love. (18) For this is the message that we have heard form the beginning, that we should Love one another. (19) By this we know that we Love the children of God, when we Love God and keep His commandments. (20) And this is the commandment we have from Him: that he who Loves God must Love his brother also. (21) Beloved, let us Love one another, for Love is of God; and everyone who Loves is born of God and knows God. (22) No one has seen God at any time. But if we Love one another, God abides in us, and His Love has been perfected in us. (23) He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk, just as He walked. (24) So be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly Love, in honor giving preference to one another. (25) There’s no fear in Love; but perfect Love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in Love. (26) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of Love and of a sound mind. (27) Therefore we should owe no one anything except to Love one another, for he who Loves another has fulfilled the law. (28) We’re not to just Love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. (29) Jesus said,” By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have Love for one another.” (30) It’s Jesus, the Anointed One, form whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causing growth of the body for the edifying of itself in Love. (31) Now the purpose of the commandment is to Love others from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith. (32) And now what abides is faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love. (33) Even if we speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not Love, we have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though we have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though we have all faith, so that we could remove mountains, but have not Love, we are nothing. And though we bestow all our goods to feed the poor, and though we give our body to be burned, but have not Love, it profits us nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; Love does not envy; Love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth: bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. (34) So we must, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, Love, patience, gentleness. (35) But above all these things we must put on Love, which is the bond of perfection. (36) And because lawlessness will abound, especially in these last days, the Love of many will grow cold. (37) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. ( Which works by Love) (38) So walk in Love, as Christ also Loved us and given Himself for us. (39) Then we’ll know the Love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all fullness of God. (40) He’ll be in us, and we will be in Him; that we may be made perfect in one, and then the world will know that the Father has sent Him, and has Loved us as He has Loved Jesus. (41) Now we know His Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgement; because as He is, so are we in this world. (42)
