NEW HEIGHTS
18 “Pray it won’t happen in winter. 19 For those will be days of
tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of creation until
now and never will be again. 20 If the Lord had not cut those days short, no

21 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘See, here is the Messiah! See, there!’ do not

to get his coat. 17 Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those
days!

the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of
Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 He will send out the
angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth
to the ends of heaven.”
Journey Group Questions
1. Do you have any stories to share with the group about mistaken
identity – a time when you were mistaken for someone else, or
when you thought somebody was another person?
2. How does hope for the future help carry us through the struggles of
our daily lives?
3. What issues or people are there which tend to fight for the throne in
your heart? How can we help each other worship Jesus above all
else?
4. Read 2 Corinthians 3:12 – 4:6 together. How does the presence of
the glory of God in the Old and New Covenants differ? How does it
connect the two covenants?
