Purpose:
Purpose:
To provide you with tools from lessons I’ve learned to change your mind set not achieve a victory in the present, but to set you up for a victory in the future
The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the Lord.
Victory comes from the Hebrew word, t-suah, which means deliverance or salvation but it also means a means of preserving from harm or unpleasantness
The key to victory in the future is not believing that your excluded from the hard work to achieve it, but it’s through faith that through hard work and endurance you can obtain it
Remember the victory is already the Lord’s but that doesn’t mean you should be passive in your victory, you should work for it
My Victory/ Your Victory: When I say Victory I mean your calling, because calling is the unique God given work for your life that will propel you to life fulfillment
Mistake #1:
Tell my story about being passive in my calling, believing that because I was called no matter what I do that calling would come to me - Specify this is a dangerous mindset
Mind Change #1: Change your passive victory, into immediate pursuit after it
*Give a little brief glimpse of my testimony*
Went from wanting to being a zoologist to pursuing my victory to becoming a pastor almost immediately when I was in 8th grade
Mistake #2:
I had a hard time being patient with my calling and because of it I was actually becoming anxious, discouraged, and even questioned my calling
Mind Change #2:
Applying the Baby Step Principle
Mistake #3
I thought because I was following after my calling that i wouldn’t face hardship - one of the most dangerous mindset
Mind Change #3:
You are entitled to nothing, but you have a grace to achieve anything through Christ

Conclusion: A Future Victory only comes with immediate pursuit, being patient, and realizing you are entitled to nothing but through Christ you can achieve anything
