Ecclesiastes 3:11
It’s about time!!!
He hat made everything Beautiful during his time. Also, he had set the world in that so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
My Brothers and sisters, it is remarkable how God can start from scratch and create the heavens and the earth. Form the earth from voidness give light to the earth after he formed it name the light day and name the darkness night. Put a name on 12:01 am and call it morning, figure out when it's 12:01 pm and call it afternoon, realize the sun is going down and call it an evening.
God is the master of creation although he gives us time. He is not bound by time or controlled by time because he is the creator of it. He creates time, not for his sake but for our sake, yes believe it or not God knew some of us are like to be late, God knew he had to give some of us time because we would just show up when we wanted to. So God had to give us a measurement of time. In the physical world its four known dimensions, which require measurement, We measure length, measure the width, we measure height and God has created a measurement of time.
However, Because God gives us these he dwells in the spiritual realm which does not operate in our time.
In Psalm 90:4, Moses used a simple yet profound analogy in describing the timelessness of God: “For a thousand years in Your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.” The eternity of God is contrasted with the temporality of man. Our lives are short and frail, but God does not weaken or fail with time.
He set the world in their hearts that no one can figure out
So God gives the time and calls it a task so that he could keep Adam could be occupied He calls it a task.
I wondered why did God create time before he created Adam?
What was the task in verse 11?
In the New Testament Tim was considered as space for the historical Acts of God.
The Greek word Kairos and Chronos are often translated as time in the New Testament
Kairos an appointed time
Chronos referees to a duration of time….
In the New Testament, the word ʿôlām is used to describe age which refers to “extended time.
As Christian, we have to master all three at the appointed time
Because we don't know when God is going to come through
The duration of time because we don't know how long God will keep us in somethings
And extended time because we don't know how much time God gives us
No man knows the day or the hour he's coming back
Without a spot or a wrinkle.
Three days
8. The Trinity: Of course, we can’t look at the number three without looking at the Trinity: God is three in one: the Father (
1 Corinthians 8:6
), the Son (Colossians 2:9), and the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Holy holy holy
So in reality when we were born we were introduced to time, and every day from that point on is extended time.
I’m not going to ask you your age but is there anyone here that looks back over your life and say, I’m glad God extended my time? It was no goodness of my own but when I didn’t deserve it, he gave me extra time. It was not the best of my own but because of his grace and mercy, we are not consumed.
That’s why we can’t get frustrated when things are not working out at the age or time when we think they should work out because God has a time and season for everything under the sun.
David used the time to reference his sorrow when he said weeping may only endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Paul got a little geeky when he said I reckon, that the suffering of this present time is not able to be compared to the glory that will be revealed.
That’s why in the body of Christ we should every day, every hour, every second is important because the bible said no man knows the day or the hour that he is coming back.
My brothers and sister if one was to ask what is the most precious gift to life, I would have to say time. Why do you ask? Because time is the only thing that once it is lost can’t be recovered.
My brothers and sister when we understand that timing of God it decreases, stress, depression, and worry,
We have to be careful Because of the restraint of time, Because of the scarcity of time Because of the constant change of time that we don’t allow our hears to be consumed with the issues of the times
Because Solomon understood that to everything there is a time and season That’s why in Ecclesiastes 3:1 Solomon said that we don’t allow our heart to become
When God breathes the breadth of life in man...Ana man became a living soul.
The clock of humankind began
He said that when
