Listening beyond what you see

There are times we can miss being set up for our actual assignment because we are too busy trying to figure out why God is taking you in the direction that He is taking you in. Just like Simon Peter, James, and John you will have to be prepared with being unprepared for what is next that God needs you to do, and at the same time be familiar with what He is about to do through you with what you have been through.
You have to abandon what you know so that Jesus can teach you how to use what you have been through as bait to win souls to the Kingdom.
You felt like an outcast because it didn’t work the first time, but is telling you to RECAST it in another position, same location!
NEW POSITION, SAME LOCATION!!!
CALL AND RESPONSE
NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DON’T NOW PIVOT AWAY FROM THEM.... NOW CAST AGAIN!
Scrubbing their nets.... Your net is a sign of your testimony, keep it pure. You can’t testify with a broken heart or bitter lips, there is no POWER in your testimony to help others overcome because you are still there. Before you cast it out to reach people check your heart, this is not the time for celebrity to try to become famous from a sensational story. It MUST GRIP YOUR HEART SO IT CAN GRIP THEIRS!!!
One of the greatest powers we possess is the ability to obey God quickly and Power comes immediately to our aid and defense from Heaven.
CALL AND RESPONSE
WHEN I OBEY GOD HEAVEN MUST RESPOND, QUICKLY!
Obedience is a posture that delights God in every way imaginable, why? Because it says to God,” I trust the One who created my life to the optimal thing with it. He is the unfailing God, therefore obedience to God I cannot fail as I rely on Him in all things that He leads me to do.”
Extending the Love of God through casting my NET properly comes with a total obedience to God in every instruction that He gives me.
Through our obedience we are able to see Him as Lord as Simon did! Obedience to God opens our eyes to the horizon of our Purpose.
Know what “Net” to use teach them the difference of the casting net vs a dragging net
Casting nets
Used for daytime fishing and shallow waters
poorer people had these
Dragging nets
Heavier and used for deep sea
Fishermen with boats had these
Jesus had them use the casting nets (lighter shallow net)...
Meaning keep it light if they are in your presence you don’t need to be aggressive, because they are there desiring to be caught.
The message should be palatable when using your nets to win souls. It must be relatable something that will draw them in.
You have to have an attitude of obedience, which is heightened by the fact that regardless of a fruitless moment in life of doing this exact act to be prompted to do it again in a same place you have the understanding that if I do it under the prompting of God IT HAS GOT TO WORK! I MUST DO IT AGAIN!!!!
Regardless of not catching one GUPPY, SIMON PETER WENT AND RECASTED HIS NET AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME IT WORKED!!!!
Take the fishing rod and talk to them about the art of fishing and how you can be out there all day going through an all body workout, only to catch little to anything if anything at all.
As you are EXTENDING YOUR NET understand that it doesn’;t take being super deep in winning souls to Christ. It just take you casting it out there in a way that will draw them in.
