Jeremiah 1:5

Biggest objection to the Bible:
“I can’t understand the ‘these’ and ‘tho us’ nor the ‘ye’ and besides nobody talks like that anymore.”
“Thee” and “thou” = singular “Ye” = plural
Here are the THEES you easily understand:

I. I Formed Thee. V.5a

Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

II. I Knew Thee. V.5b

Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

III. I Sanctified Thee. V.5c

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

IV. I Ordained Thee. V.5d

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

V. I Shall Send Thee. V.7a

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

VI. I Command Thee. V.7b

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

VII. I Am With Thee To Deliver Thee. V.8, 19

Matthew 28:18, 20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Conclusion:

I understand Lord.
