The Wrath of God
45 times of human wrath. 177 times of divine wrath
~ There is no revival without repentance. No repentance without realizing of the sin.
Argentine Revival, Brownsville Revival, Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley, Charles Finney, Isaiah, Daniel, Moses. Presence of God cannot be abide in the unclean vessels.
~ Divine wrath of God is an expression of His holiness and righteousness.

God is light there is no darkness in Him. None holy as He is. He alone is holy. God is an consuming fire. Who can withstand His wrath. It’s fearful to fall into His Hand.
God doesn’t threat or suggests but promises wrath.
Wrath is totally consistent with holy, just, righteous God.
You cannot know the love of God without His wrath.

The Wrath of God is against wicked
Psalm 7:11 “God is just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day”
Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold down the truth in unrighteousness”
Romans 2:8-9 “but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness – indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek.”
Ephesians 5:6 “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

The Wrath of God is against those who forsake Him

Ps 78:21-22 “Jehovah heard them and was angry; the fire of his wrath burned against Israel, because they didn't believe in God or trust in him to care for them”
Hebrews 3:18-19 “And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”
~ root of disobedience is unbelief
John 3:36 “…and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
The Wrath of God is against willful sin
Heb 10:26-27 “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.”
The Wrath of God is against idolatry
Deuteronomy 32:21 “They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; they have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation. For a fire is kindled in My anger, and shall burn to the lowest part of hell; it shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.”
Joshua 23:16 “If you break the covenant of the LORD your God by worshiping and serving other gods, his anger will burn against you, and you will quickly be wiped out from the good land he has given you.”
