God’s Dream
Dream is God’s idea revealed to man as a goal to be achieved
Dream is having clear image of who God wants me to be and what He wants me to do
Dream will have you instead of you having dream
God, what do You want?
Ester 5:6 King asked Ester: what is your request?
King is able to fulfill the desire of the queen according to his riches and no more Psalm 37:4 Those who delight in the Lord, God will give them desires of their heart
Delight in God will transform the desires of man Philippians 2:13 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.”
God is capable of producing a desire that evidentially will become your dream 2 Chronicles 1:7-12 God asked Solomon: what do you want?
Solomon asked for that which God wanted
Dream is like the seed that falls into the soil and after it is grown it becomes whatever God indented it to be
God’s dream starts with a faith
Blurred vision is a result of bad signal Matthew 17:20 Faith is the good signal Matthew 16:23 Faith is seeing things like God sees them.
Think like God - not like the devil The devil thinks like man Son can dream to the ability of his dad’s pocket
God’s dream is not based on qualification of man as much as on ability of God
Spiritual shortcomings
Abraham – impatient, an ancestor of idolatrous house, and lied about his wife Jacob – deceiver and liar Rahab – prostitute and became an ancestress of Jesus Ruth – foreigner and became an ancestress of Jesus David – adultery with Bath-sheba, killed Uriah, and counted people Solomon – born out of adultery vii.Samson – ate forbidden, intercourse with prostitute and foreign wife viii.Peter – denied Jesus, rebuked Jesus, always complained and refused and backslider Kathryn Kulman – had divorce Juanita Bynum – had divorce and many sexual addictions Zacchaeus was a tax collector and a big sinner Natural shortcomings
Abraham was too old to have a child Jacob was second born and not favor by his father Joseph too young, inexperienced and hated by everybody Moses was slow in speech, unable to communicate David was not born in kings palace, uneducated and too young Ester was an slave and orphan vii.Peter was uneducated fisher viii.Mary was too young to have a baby and not married God doesn’t look at shortcomings or past to determine destiny or future
God’s dream is not selfish but are selfless
God’s selfless dream fulfilled
Abraham was to be blessed to be a blessing to the nations Joseph was to the nations by providing them bread Moses was to be empowered to deliver Israel Ester was to save Israel by being a queen Jesus was to save the earth by coming to this earth Jesus and Adam
Adam full of selfishness in the Garden – result destruction Jesus full of selflessness in the Garden – result salvation God’s goal in a dream is to make you happy
It is better to give than receive If your dream will not impact souls for eternity you can doubt that it’s not God’s dream
God’s dream is not achieved without God
Team work is the best way to strengthen relationship Spirit of independency is not God’s idea
Prodigal Son left father’s house from being dependant on father Devil gave Adam idea to become God and slip out of being dependant on God Even Jesus was dependant on the Father God is partnering with us in His dreams
Abraham and Isaac; Moses and Pharaoh; Moses and Red Sea; Joshua and Jericho; David and Goliath; Gideon and his enemy Jesus feeding 5000 men; Jesus and coin in the fish; Jesus and water turning into wine Matthew 19:26 What is possible with man is impossible with God; possibilities of God are impossibilities of man
God will launch His possibilities at the end of yours Small things accomplished better than big things talked about Person that orders is he that pays for the order Philippians 1:6 God gives the desire and is faithful to fulfill it
