The Word of God is like the mirror

Your identity is determined by what mirror you are looking in

Adam, who told you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree...?

The Jesus you know is determined by what mirror you are looking in

We come to the mirror with a idea to change into the person we ought to be

People around us will look strange on us if we don’t change what we ought to change

Mirror wasn’t made to change you but to reveal your true condition

Mirror is used to reveal only the our face the rest of us can be revealed by our face (Jesus is the Head of the Body)

We ought to seek the fresh revelation of Jesus not a fresh blessing from Jesus, after having Jesus we have everything

Grace is not license to sin

We are saved by grace but by works but by our works we loose salvation

James 1:21-25

Hearers are deceivers unless they are doers

Will be blessed in what he does

Hearing is NOT enough

Difference between listening and hearing

Four types of “listeners” – one didn’t understand; another had diseased theology (afraid of persecution); another had heart decease (attached to the riches – greed)

Using God’s gifts is not enough
