The effects of fatherlessness are shaping the views of God, brining poverty, educational problems, health problems, emotional problems, victims of child abuse, most likely to be involved in premarital sex, and engage in crime. Most of the great world “bad leaders” were fatherless

The effects of having no heavenly Father are even worse than having no earthly biological father

Romans 8:15-16

- “Abba” – Aramaic word for father – the first word that the baby says “papa” or “daddy”

- God introduces Himself to the humanity as the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6), our Father in heaven (Matthew 6:9), heavenly Father (Luke 11:13).

You don’t know the value of something unless you lose it

Matthew 3:17

* Father’s affection, love, warmth, care, kindness can not be earned, deserved, or worked for to be worthy of it.

Fatherless generation is in capable of loving others because their love tanks are empty

Matthew 18:3

- Child has no worries as a result of dependence on Daddy

- Live like a child because Daddy can effort it

Luke 15:11-24

- Takes the Father’s portion and goes into the far country

The law requires for the son to take 1/3 of the father’s possession after the father is dead

Son used selfishly what he didn’t owned (body, time, day, life, talents, health)

Son didn’t deserve to have what he used

1 million of world’s population will die at the end of this week

500 million of world’s population has war, loneliness of jail, agony of thirst and hunger

3 billion of world’s population walk with fear of being killed or persecuted

75 % of world’s population do not have enough of roof and food and clothing

8 % of world’s population do have bank account and extra money

2 billion of world’s population cannot read

Son is not the owner so; it means he will have to given an account of his stewardship

If it wouldn’t be for his father he wouldn’t even be able to go into the far country in the first place

- Joined himself to a citizen of that country to feed the swine

If you refuse to be a son that serves you will become a slave that works

Don’t go to check the world out cause many have not returned home after that journey

The friends that used to his friends have forsaken him, same thing is awaiting for you

- Path back to his Father

Father was still in his memory even though he was afar from him

Repentance is not a sorry feeling only

Repentance is a change of heart; it’s turning your back to what broke the heart of God; it’s 180 turn around

Make the first step with brokenness and the Father will run to you with compassion

True repentance is not only pardoning your sin but bringing you a restoration
