Principles of Evangelism
Proverbs 30:24-28
Motivated by the Future (the wisdom of the ant)
Ant is motivated to store up food during the summer months, knows she has limited time to gather the harvest This life is preparation for next, just as 9 months in the mother’s womb were just a preparation for next life so, as this life (Departing from Ukraine) Wisdom is investing in future (Prov.11:30 “He who wins souls is wise”)
Protection through Partnership (the wisdom of rock badger or Arabic mice)
The badger’s strength lies not in his abilities but in his associations (links or connections) Partnering with God (Ester - it’s what you know it’s who you know) Partnering with others (Ec.4:9-12) (Body was design to be help to other members)
The power of partnership illustrated through geese “V” Geese rotate turns at the lead where the wind resistance is the greatest (serving) Geese encourage each other by “honking” to those who are tired and struggling (encourage) Geese brake the wind resistance, they reach their goal faster together, they have a 71% greater flying range when they fly as a group then when they fly alone (productivity) Geese protect each other, cause whenever the goose is shot and falls to the ground, it is accompanied by two other geese who leave the group to watch it from a distance (protection) Who you know and how you know them
Prayer: Breaking down Spiritual Resistance (the wisdom of locust)
Breaking down spiritual resistance is vital to soul winning Cells must first generate revival and then contain revival Locust is the army of God that is why they don’t a have a King (Joel 2:25)
Penetrating Darkness (the wisdom of lizard)
Lizard finds a tiny hole in your masonry sticks it’s pointed her head inside Principles of penetration (Luke 5:3)
Christ’s attitude toward Peter’s indifference The secret of evangelism is to enter into their “boat” and “sit down” Traditional evangelism is inviting to come to our boats but cell evangelism is asking to come into their boats
