Wilderness was visited by the most influential leads of all time Job, Moses, Israel, David, John & Jesus
Many Jobs, Moses’, David’, Joseph’ went into the deserts and never made to the promise land
Wilderness is for believers not just for dreamers
Joseph is the dreamer
Israel is the believer
Lessons learned in wilderness are used in the promise land (cannot be learned from books & colleges)
Heard the voice of God – Moses & Baptist; used sling – David
Dependence because of no water & food (Israel & Jesus)
Humility & brokenness (Israel)
Your reaction toward wilderness is determined by your view of it
Wilderness is the test designed by God
Somebody made the test (Joseph)
I made the test (Moses)
Devil made the test (Job)
God made the test (Israel & Jesus – Luke 4:1)
Blaming & complaining prevents you from going
Invisible God is always present in wilderness (Ex.17:1-7) – three Jewish boys Christ is invisible to them
Wilderness is the test (Ex.15:20-27)
God tests you by allowing devil to tempt you
Teacher determines the test student determines the grade

How you react in the wilderness will determine how fast you will reach your promise land
Reaction Jesus & Israel determined the length of the wilderness
Fail means stay in the same class or drop out
How you react in the problem will determine how long you will stay there
Wilderness reveals your heart (Deut.8:2)
Wilderness to get you on your knees (trouble & problems are the best witnessing tools ever used)
Fire reveals the impurities in gold
Wilderness gives you an opportunity to repent
God always saw what you didn’t knew
