HEART: TOMB OR TEMPLE
Preaching is impartation “people drink from what is inside of the cup”
Fellowship with unbelievers is dangerous because it’s impartation
Reputation is important “it allows people to handle the cup”
God sees the inside only while we are busy with the outside of it
Clean up to fill up “empty cup is useless but dirty water is dangerous”
God created inside and outside and expects us to clean over both of them Luke 11:40
Pews look clean from outside indeed but the deeper you go the more you find
I will turn on light by word, God will do the cleaning; we are filled with leftovers & trash
Clean the place behind sofa
Spiritual condition of the people was revealed by their relation to the temple
Temple of God is holy and anyone who defiles it is destroyed 1 Cor.3:16-17
Defiling the temple with “evil thoughts, hatred, lust, fornication, thefts, lying and blasphemies” Mt.15:17-20
Zeal for Your house will eat Me up “My devotion to Your house burns within me like fire” John 2:17
Is your temple filled with the glory of God or dead tradition “business”?
“Tomb” this word was addressed to the religious leaders not to total unbelievers – religion works outside and never reaches in but that is not like that with God
Tomb is the suit for the dead man’s bones and home for the dead not living
Man is dead and stinks – every relationship in your life that is dead will stink “bad smell is coming out of the inside”
Quit allowing people to bring flowers and mourning for you
Since dead are present uncleanness creeps in
Jesus stayed in the tomb for only three days and couldn’t afford to live there
Lazarus “Come forth”
Tomb even shines when sun shines on it
The blood of Jesus washes us from sin while the blood of animals covered the sin Heb.9:12-14
