A Grain of Wheat
You can sacrifice without love but you can’t love without sacrifice (1 Cor.13)
There is no selfishness in love and there is no love in selfishness
Selfishness belittles you while selflessness exalts you
To desire greatness is not forbitted by Jesus (Mt.20:26-27)
You can’t become rich without enriching others
John 12:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit”
A grain of wheat is small in size
Salt is small in size as well
A grain of wheat is ineffective
A grain of wheat is useless when compared to an apple or an apple tree
A grain of wheat falls
Not every falling is failing
Righteous man falls seven times Prov.24:16
Joseph fell into the pit – thrown by brothers
David fell into wilderness – thrown out by king
Job fell into devastation – thrown by an enemy
Daniel fell into den of lions – thrown by wicked people
Three Hebrew boys fell into the furnace of fire – thrown by idolatrous king
Jesus fell into hands of sinners – thrown by an invisible hand
Falling happens fast
Falling is never up but always down (Jesus, David and Joseph one day were up)
In order for a grain to fall it needs to be thrown
Don’t put period where God put comma
When you down to nothing God is up too something
A grain of wheat falls into the ground
Ground stinks
Ground is a place of being under mans foot
A grain is not buried but planted
A grain of wheat is in dirt
A grain is surrounded by dirt
A grain is pressured by dirt
A grain of wheat is in dark
A grain is alone
A grain is without light, understanding of what is happening
A grain is surrounded by powers of darkness while others enjoy the light
A grain of wheat is under ground
Before they were singing songs about you now they don’t know you
Deeds unnoticed by others
Death yields fruitfulness
Unless you die you will remain alone
Stalk/branches/stem comes out of now where (Mark 4:28; 31-32)
The price was paid for you already. You can continue to live in sin or life free and serve your redeemer
