Life in the Kingdom
Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
Kingdoms of Earth were shadows of Kingdom of God
Just because we couldn’t have a king that doesn’t mean that God became a president
Just because we couldn’t have a kingdom that doesn’t mean that God became democratic
Bible cannot be understood with democratic mentality
“…and stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth...” Daniel 2:35
Stone’s target is image; stone didn’t miss the image it hit it in its heart Stone becomes a great mountain; it’s a process – the gospel of kingdom will be preached Stone fills the whole earth; represents millennium kingdom
“In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” Daniel 2:35, 44
In the days of these kings (Roman Empire) God of heaven will set up a kingdom (stone fell from heaven) Kingdom shall never be destroyed No one ever will conquer it Kingdom shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms Kingdom shall stand forever
“…the kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21
Life in Ukraine compared with life in United States. Will you trade?
Matthew 13:44
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells that he has and buys that field.”
Life in Kingdom is the treasure
Those that find it trade their religious life with joy
Those that find it sell everything they have for the life in Kingdom
John 10:10
“…I came to give life and more abundantly”
Jesus brought the Kingdom
Jesus offers life in the Kingdom
Do you live a life Jesus died for you to live or life that Jesus died to rescue you from?
Romans 14:17
“For the Kingdom of God is not eating or drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
Kingdom of darkness is sorrow, chaos and unrighteousness
Everything I have, I have because of the provision of my parents not because of my accomplishments
Everything I am, I am because of the birth that I received from my parents
Its parent’s duty to provide for children – Father provided for you healing, life and joy
