The Purpose of Man
Our bodies were not designed to handle sin (pain, depression, sickness, divorce, alcohol, drugs, cigars or fornication) Car wasn’t designed to handle the weight of the semi truck
As fish needs water, birds need food, body needs oxygen so are you in need of presence
A nice car without gas will not work
You don’t make anything until you know what do you want and why do you want it
The purpose of something determines its design, nature and features
Life is not an experiment or a trial run
It’s foolish to ask the creation for the purpose
Gen.1:26; 2:8-9, 19; 3:8
Man is made in God’s image (Mt.22:15-22)
Whatever had the image of Caesar was the property of Caesar
Your money may belong to Caesar but your heart belongs to God
The value of the coin is not its color, size but the image
Man is made to have dominion over earth
God said let them have dominion
He will not change even if we will - God is faithful even if we are unfaithful
God has dominion over heaven man has dominion over earth
God shares His dominion
Man is responsible for earth not God (because of its mess) (Ps.115:16)
Man doesn’t have the ownership of the earth but the rulership of it (Ps.24:1)
Man named animals not God (Gen.2:19)
What you name you claim; what you claim you have responsibility for
Jesus was named, claimed and responsibility of the Father
Abraham & Jacob & Peter was named, claimed and responsibility of the Father
You have a new name (Is.62) child of the King – Satan has no claims on you
Man was given dominion over serpent (Gen.3:1; 1:26-28)
Man ate the forbidden
Why did serpent deceive Adam?
Serpent is thirsty for power for he has none; he’ll do anything to get it
Serpent wants to be like God (have dominion); and man has what he wants
He tried to deceive Jesus as well because Jesus came to take what he took from Adam (Mt.4:9)
The difference between the forbidden trees is not looks
When you eat of the forbidden you make him your kind and yourself his slave
God is king over kings not slaves; Satan is king over slaves
Man was removed from the presence
Just as fish was made for water so are you for presence (not for drugs, alcohol and etc)
The first indication that you have eaten of forbidden is when there is no presence
You can’t have dominion without the presence and you can’t have presence without dominion
Have you lost your dominion?
Do you live in the presence?
Have you eaten the forbidden?
Presence of God – just to be in His presence or to be where He is present not including speaking
I prefer God’s presence more then presence of 150 souls
We build the wall of separation God tore that wall “flesh” of His Son
Can you get to know someone or see them behind a wall – God made a door
