Gen. 19:12-17; 2 Peter 2:5-6

Sodom – Your Mailing Address

Sodom is the clearest picture of our generation (2 Peter 2:5-6)

Lot used live in Abraham’s camp (Genesis 13:5)

Blessing caused the separation from Abraham (Genesis 13:9)

Lot for a while lived between Abraham and Sodom (Genesis 13:12)

On occasion Abraham would rescue Lot from trouble but never from Sodom (Genesis 14:1-17)

Sodom – Past Reveals Future

Sodom is pride, fullness of food and abundance of idleness (Ezekiel 16:49-50)

Every sin will be punished

Angels came with warning when everything was going fine

If God will not punish your sin He will have to apologize to Sodom, Adam, Satan, Ananais, & Jesus?

If there would be a way for God not to punish your sin never ever would Jesus die

Hell is not joke; cosmic garbage dumb Gehenna is place where worm doesn’t die; fire is not quenched; outer darkness; furnace of fire; wailing; weeping; gnashing of teeth; glimpse of hell

You are going to leave Sodom the question is when not if

Escape for your life

Life is a race not a bus stop; life is battlefield not a play ground

Just because you are out of Sodom doesn’t mean Sodom is out of you

Do not look back

You will not go forward if you look backward (Luke 9:62)

Don’t resurrect your past by dwelling on it; yesterday finished last night

Anointing, blessing, grace and disciples behind you – don’t give your attention to them

Enemy, temptation, lust and pride behind you – don’t give your eyes to them

Do not stay in plain

We do not stay on fire but passing through it but we stay warm instead of passing through it

You are dangerous when you are on fire but you in danger when you are not (Rev.3:16)

Greatest deception ever: you were not meant to burn for God

You are not attracted to God unless you are hot

Run to the mountains

Mountain is far but town is near

Mountain represent life if prayer (Moses, Abraham, Elisha and Jesus)

Climbing is not sliding; you never climb down and you will never slide up

Pay now and play later or play now and pay later

It’s no being out of Sodom that guarantees you safely but living in God

Repentance is not putting sinful life on pause of stop

Repentance is 180 turn around

You are saved when you are out of Sodom but you are not safe unless you are in the mountains
