At War With Saul

Saul was chosen by people while David was chosen by God

Saul was taker while David was giver

Fight for David because he has a future

Saul was defeated twice: once he lost next generation and other time he lost his kingship

Saul is not king no more (illegal & temporary – and he knows that)

He acts like a ruler but he is fired

The whole country followed Saul even though they didn’t like him

Saul knew who the real king (1 Samuel 24:20)

Saul sought David everyday (1 Samuel 23:14)

The enemy walks like roaring lion seeking whom he can devour not hurt (1 Peter 5:8)

Lion is looking for you?

Why do you want to kill me? – You were born to have dominion

God didn’t remove Saul from David but protected him from him (1 Samuel 23:14)

God protected David but he had to be in the strongholds (1 Samuel 23:14)

Quit fighting for Saul – because he is headed for destruction
