BE CONTENT & DON’T COMPLAIN
To be content you have to have clothes and food (1Timothy 6:8)
Complaining is expressing dissatisfaction with something or someone
The root of complaining is unbelief
Complaining kills (1 Corinthians 10:10)
Death comes as a result of complaining
First two complaining (no food and water) brought no judgment
Last four complaining (worthless manna, no meat, fear of entering land, Moses) brought fire, plague, rejection, and poisonous snakes
Complaining kills joy and worship
Wilderness can’t justify complaining
Hormones can’t justify for rape
Anger can’t justify for murder
Complaining focuses on what we don’t have instead of what we do have
Don’t look inward but outward in the time of trial
What will do when you find the fault?
Look to the cross not to the wound
Look to what the Lord is doing instead of what He is not doing
Complainers don’t see fulfillment of God’s promises
The closer Israel got to the promise land the less complaining they had
By looking at your complaining list you can determine how far you are from promise land
God is not moved by complaining but by faith
Once I get out from this problem then I will be content
Complaining chains you in your wilderness
