SONS ACTING LIKE SLAVES

Tradition makes God’s word of no effect (Matthew 15:6)

Satan either will try to keep us in bondage of sin or bondage of ignorance or bondage of legalism

Do not adjust God’s word with your circumstances

Devil has ripped you off of your past don’t let him to rip you off of your future

Salvation is not a ticket to heaven. How to know that you are saved for sure? When do you lose salvation?

To keep salvation is as hard as trying to earn it

Salvation is being born into God’s family as God’s child (John 3:3)

I know that I am saved without waiting for the funeral

You don’t do good things to become child but you do good things because you are a child (Phil.2:12)

Because you are a child that doesn’t mean you free to do nothing

Difference between slaves and sons: one works for another because of

Sinner is not a sinner because he sins but he sins because he is a sinner just like slave is not a slave because he works but he works because he is a slave

Sons with mind of slaves do well because of terror of the Father (Galatians 5:1)

Don’t compare yourself with slaves who work because of terror

Slaves need to do good if they want to stay in the house

You can’t love someone you’re afraid of

Sinners are scared of God because they are slaves

When we would do evil never thought would come that we would get kicked out

You can’t join the family you must be born into it (John 1:12-13)

There is nothing you can do to become a child in the family you must be born into it

There is nothing slave can do to become son

You don’t cease to become child when you break the plate (John 8:35)

You don’t get kicked out of the house when you don’t clean your room

Just because God can’t trust you that doesn’t mean He doesn’t love you

Father is a provider for children (Matthew 6:33)

God punishes sinners but disciplines His children (Hebrews 12:5-11)

Children can’t sin and slaves can’t disobey

Disobedience doesn’t make you a slave but it hurts relationship

Forgiveness is for restoring of relationship not sonship

Discipline is not outburst of Father’s anger but it’s the way of making of character

Losing of salvation

Prodigal son lost his salvation but not his position as son (Luke 15)

Disobedience is dangerous not because we lose our salvation because of it but it drives away

Peter didn’t ruin but lost the relationship with Jesus (Matthew 26)

Character flaws don’t break relationship but denying Him does

Adam didn’t restore the relationship with God (Genesis 5)

Confess don’t wait until you get caught don’t justify but repent

Don’t think in term of salvation but relationship and not of sin but of disobedience

Depart from Me because I don’t know you (Matthew 25:12; 7:21-23)

This is the eternal life that they might know You (John 17)
