It’s okay to find somebody attractive, but it’s not okay to be crushed by that person.

An emotional attachment is not love, but chemical reaction that changes like the weather.

Premature attachments are distracting.

» Attractions distract.

» To distract somebody is to defeat them.

Ask the Lord to put your feelings back to sleep!

» It's so hard to put a baby to sleep, but it is so easy to wake it up.

» Sleep is the preparation of body & soul for the coming day.

» You can’t fall a sleep with your eyes open.

» God is the greatest matchmaker, but only when you are asleep.

Starvation is the only way to destroy the crush:

» Your crush will crush you, if you don’t crush it first.

» God will not remove the attachment from you, but He will help you to starve it.

» Starvation is very painful, but beneficial.

» When you can’t kill it don’t assume that it's because the Lord doesn't want you to.

» God will not give you what you want unless what you want is what you need.

Practical Advice:

» Guard your words because they create feelings.

» Don’t be alone with a person of opposite gender.

» Don’t joke about relationships because they create feelings.
