Matthew 9:37-39

Harvest is plentiful but laborers are few

The Lord of the harvest – God is in change of the cells and the church. He is the One responsible and oversees the harvest of souls. He is the One that sends people out to His fields. We in SOL make sure do what is on His mind. We are His co-workers, helping Him, but keep in mind it’s His work and field. He hires and fires people from His harvest – He determines when and how and what

Send out laborers – Send means forced out. God only sends out laborers, workers, people who are ready to work not to relax. Laborer is someone who is ready to labor in love, prayer, patience, compassion, sacrifice, fasting, kindness, consolidation, discipleship, casting out devils, healing the sick, preaching the gospel, witnessing and being a light to the darkness. How can they preach unless they are sent?

Pray – our responsibility is to ask the Lord of the harvest to convert the leaders into laborers and sent them out into the harvest.

SOL needs to prepare people to be sent out. SOL needs to turn leaders into laborers. SOL needs to present every student ready to be sent out to the field. SOL needs to train every student how to crop the harvest, how to use all of the instruments used to reap the harvest. SOL needs to be led by Spirit that knows the mind of the Lord of the harvest.

Don’t get disappointed if someone quits in the middle or someone gets back because it’s tough work

Fire drew people to Jesus, He didn’t start ministry without it Luke 4:14

Fire drew souls to disciples, they didn’t start ministry without it Acts 1:8

These signs follow those who believe. What signs are following you?

Why would Spirit be sent if we could do everything on our own?

Fire consumes you but warms people

Frozen generation is drawn to love

Fire burns you but lights people

Light destroys darkness by its presence

Generation in darkness will see the Light of the world

God still leads His people through fire by night Ex.13:21-22; Rom.8:14
