Man is spirit (Genesis 1:27)

» Spirits don’t have gender.

» Man was placed in two physical houses: male & female.

» Men and women are different, but equal.

» Male is the foundation of the human family.

» Foundation can’t perform all the functions by itself.

» House will fall if foundation is not strong.

» Male’s identity is not determined by his role but by his purpose.

» Purpose of something determines its nature, design and features.

» God doesn’t determine the purpose of something after making it.

Our differences in purpose:

» Men are visionary, teachers, cultivators, providers, and protectors (Genesis 2:5, 15-16)

Visionary: before God gave the man a helper, He gave him a vision.

Teachers: if a man can’t teach the word, he is not ready for marriage. (Jesus & Church)

Cultivators: men are cultivators of talents, children, & wives.

Providers: God never told the woman to work.

Protectors: God gave men muscles to protect the women, not to hurt them. (Jesus & Church)

» Women are supporters and producers (Genesis 2:18; 3:20)

Supporters: women were created to be helpers, not slaves

Producers: a woman has a womb physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

A woman will multiply whatever you give to her

She will turn a house into a home.

She will turn food into a meal.

She will turn sperm into a baby.

She will turn bitterness into a divorce.

She will turn a compliment into an attachment.

Jesus gave the Church 12 disciples and “she” gave him multitudes.

» You fill the car with gas and pour water on the plants.

» Each entity needs to be given what is appropriate for its own nature and needs.

Our differences in need:

» Men need respect, while women need love (Ephesians 5:33)

Men need to know that they are respected, while women need to feel that they are loved.

God never tells women to love men.

Women need to be loved by men as the Church is loved by Christ.

» Men need a recreational companion (fun friend), while women need communication.

Women desire to have men talk with them, not at them.

Men need to show that they want to understand women, not change them.

If you don’t know how to listen, then you don’t know how to communicate.

Communication is giving the other person freedom to disagree.

» Men need sex, while women need affection.

Sex is the expression of love not creation of it. If it would be true then prostitutes would be loved the most.
