Church lowers the standards to be relevant but Spirit raises them to be revolutionary If God increases standard He will give grace to keep it

The dating system of this generation is out of order

16,000 get pregnant every Friday and 1 million every year. 1 out of 7 has AIDS

43% of Christians have sex before 18. Divorce rate is extremely high

1 out 5 get raped during date, 5% is reported

Youth rather be in love for 40 years then to fall 40 times in love

Don’t share your feelings until you are ready to commit to relationship that will lead to marriage

If you are not on the road of purity dating is not even your option

The Red Light

If you are not ready to get married then dating is not your option

You’re old enough to date when you’re old enough to get married

Relationships were never meant to be experimental

You’re mature enough to date when you’re mature enough to get married

Age doesn’t equal maturity but maturity comes with time and discipline

If you are not financially stable then dating is not your option

On 6th day God made man but for 5 days God was creating place for him to live in

Adam had mission, garden, then God brought Eve to him

If you are a saint then sinner is not your option

Missionary dating is popular yet not Biblical

Do not be equally yoked with sinner’s not just non-Christians

The Yellow Light –

Education

Prepare for stop if you are in high school

Speed up if you are in college

Comparability

Adam didn’t marry animals because they were unavailable but because they were different

Date your bone not someone’s

Comparable in culture and vision (Adam and Marry)

Don’t marry a date but a destiny

The Green Light –

Inward Witness

Inward witness is not a feeling its voice

Don’t use God to manipulate the person

God will not tell you who your mate is but He will tell you who your mate is not

Authorities

God, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Samson

Authorities divorce proof your relationship

Love is blind but authorities aren’t

Wait for your green light (when you wait God will work)

Adam waited for Eve and didn’t get animals for his mate

Abraham, Saul, Israel didn’t wait

Fruit that it not ripened is sour and bitter – the only solution is to wait

Trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit

Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet
