THE LEGS OF CHRISTIANITY

Those who are radically saved would radically evangelize others

Those who are radically discipled would radically disciple others

Salvation gives you legs to walk with God but discipleship gives you legs to win the world

Handicap is anyone who is not saved and discipled

It’s hard to hit the homerun with crutches

Base 1 – visitor (win) – salvation

Base 2 – believer (consolidate) – P.E.P.

Base 3 – disciple (disciple) – S.O.L.

Home – leader (send) – start a cell

Church on wheel chair is the church that sits instead of going (Isaiah 52:7)

It’s not how many we are seating it’s how many we are sending

Legs provide moment. There could be no grow without go

Church on crutches is the church which replaced great commission with great programs

Activity is not achievement

Crutches are events or personality that carry modern Church. Take them away the Church is stuck

People wouldn’t come because Jesus told us to go

Church that walks with God will work for God (Mark 1:17)

If you’re not winning souls and making disciples you’re not talking with God

Those who do the great commandment will fulfill the great commission

If you pray you’ll preach, if you have devotion you’ll have disciples

Church that prays is the Church that evangelizes

Church with bendable knees will have strong legs

You can’t move your legs without moving your knees

Two legs of Christianity (Matthew 28:19)

One Leg – Decisions (Acts 2:41, 47; 4:4; 5:14)

One Leg – Disciples (Acts 6:1-2, 7)

Catch fish and feed lambs (Mark 1:17; John 21:15-17)

Seek the lost and lay it on shoulder (Luke 15:4-5)

Come forth and lose him (John 11:43-44)

Arise and give her food (Luke 8:54-55)

Go & find and loose & bring (Matthew 21:2)

By making decisions we are faithful but by making disciples we are fruitful

Joshua saved and discipled

Two legs of every Christian

It’s not my personality, calling, or ego (church is small & pastor has goals)

It may not be your ambition but it’s your commission

It’s not an option or choice it’s a command

Something is wrong with a believer who doesn’t fulfill great commission

Firefighter sits in fire truck while house is burning

Life savior holds on to his lifejacket while everyone is drowning

Four lepers who found so much food but wouldn’t tell the city

Crutches are not natural. Crutches are unusual

Missing Child (Matthew 13:44-45; Luke 15)

Loss of money is not compared with a loss of a child

God is missing the lost child. The lost child is missing the Father as well

The reward is promised to anyone who finds and brings the lost child home
