DELIVERER OF GENERATION

Deliverers are not humanly qualified (Judges 6:15) Gideon – weakest & least. Moses – when he becomes nothing. David – passion for God. Disciples were outcasts God is not looking for golden vessels but for yielded vessels God mainly chooses foolish, weak, insignificant, despised people (1 Cor.1:26-29) When you’re not humanly qualified you’ll look for divine enablement The only people God needs are those who need Him

Deliverers walk with GOD (Judges 6:11, 16, 23, 25; 7:2) Angel of Lord appeared (6:11) Gideon was led by the Holy Spirit God always spoke to Gideon and Gideon talked with God

Deliverers are idol destroyers (Judges 6:25-31) Deliverers deal with the root of the bondage of generation which is idolatry Generation is not really delivered until they are freed from what bound them in the first place

Deliverers will face impossibilities (Judges 7:2-4) When things are hard for you it’s easy on Him. When things are easy for you it’s hard on Him Devil didn’t make things hard for Gideon but God did God will lead deliverers to the place of dependence and God-confidence Impossibilities are God’s platform. Possibilities are His box God will never call you to do something you can do but something you can’t do Fear must be removed out of deliverers God’s daily message for deliverers is “do not be afraid” Fear comes when we don’t look to the One in us but gaze on the one whose against us You can’t deliver a generation on your own: raise up warriors & find foxes

Deliverers use trumpets in one hand and fire in another (Judges 7:16-22) Deliverers didn’t have swords God moved when trumpets sounded. Trumpets make noise – they awake the sleeping giants Trumpets were used with Joshua Fire deals with your eyes while trumpet deals with your ears People must hear the gospel (preaching) and see the gospel (miracles)
