FOLLOW THE STAR

Matthew 2:1-11

Went to Jerusalem but Worshipped Him outside of Jerusalem Sunday sickness. Football player without a team, sheep without flock, student without school, & child without family God glory descended upon the ark and temple but greatest miracles happened outside of ark and temple God talked to Adam, walked with Enoch, Abraham was His friend, Jacob wrestled with Him, Joseph in the courts of Egypt, Moses in desert saw fire, Joshua saw His power in war, Elijah saw his fire on mountains and etc… Jesus performed more miracles outside of temple Knowing God is lifestyle not an event. In all your ways acknowledge Him Intimacy starts in the kitchen not in the bed. Your life affects your prayer and your prayer affects your life

Those who seek Him find Him not just those who wait on Him (wish bone or back bone) Those who seek Him will truly worship Him (prayer is like flying; three levels of prayer, higher the lower) They sought Him to give Him gifts not to receive a reward (less of you for more of Him)

What Start Are You Following? Our starts don’t shine no longer (Lindsay Lohan, Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton) The start you follow will determine place where you’ll end up Hollywood start takes away your worth because of lie, Bright and Morning star gives you worth by truth

Following a star must lead to an encounter Search the Scripture for they testify of Me (John 5:39) Purpose of the star is not to lead you into experience Taste and see that the Lord is good Truth will lead into experience. But don’t get shocked if your experience starts as baby in manger Follow the truth/promise and it will lead you into reality (Abraham, David, Joseph did)
