DON’T LEAVE ABRAHAM Faith worships God See problem through God’s eyes instead of seeing God through the eyes of the problem Faith glorifies God and minimizes giants. If you glorify problem and minimize promise you lack faith Is God your giant and problem your grasshopper or the opposite? Unbelief is natural and easy Abraham – father of faith Has no autobiography of God nor His background God didn’t speak to Abraham about morality but about promise Abraham met with God continuously and heard promise of God it grew his faith People with promise will experience separation Lot “branch” left because of conflict with Abraham “root” Lot didn’t plan to be in the Sodom – he just wanted to get away from Abraham Lot dried up and lost everything Hagar, the Egyptian slave was pregnant Hagar had a conflict with Sarah Hagar left to Egypt, to her past Angel stopped her and told her to return and submit and promised blessing You can’t be blessed outside of Abraham’s roof Prodigal son learned that lesson the hard way – return brought restoration Ruth’s mother in law learned that lesson the hard way – return brought blessing Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish Ps.92:13
