FAITH BRINGS YOU TO HIS FEET
She came at wrong time (not convenient) It’s never too late to come to Jesus (criminal, friend at midnight) It’s never too early to come to Jesus (children came to Jesus) Some have sinned too much, others have sinned too little
She came to wrong place (place of opinions) Place was surrounded by opinions of righteous people Can you pour oil in the presence of the opinion? He prepares table in the presence of the enemies Focus on the king not Haman She didn’t want to please people or win popularity contest Jesus doesn’t think of you of others do. People have opinions, Jesus has love
She came as wrong person (not invited) I don’t belong here. If you don’t, then Jesus doesn’t belong here either Fish belongs in water so you belong in God Who can ascend the hill of the Lord? Sick belong to hospital, sinners belong to Savior
Her faith brought her to His feet Sin, guilt, regret, or pain didn’t bring her to Jesus. Jesus didn’t reward guilt or regret Sin is not strong enough to keep you from Jesus (man with legions) What keeps people from Jesus is not sin but lack of faith What sends people to hell is not sin but unbelief Her faith was that Jesus will not reject her, make time for her, care for her (faith in pierced feet)
Holy Spirit will convict of sin that they don’t believe…
Unbelief will keep you in sin (hiding in bushes, hanging yourself) Unbelief kept Israel from promise land Unbelief kept Nazarites from seeing more miracles
Faith is not only for answers and for remedy for discouragement Salvation is not about repentance but about faith…faith brings to repentance
Jesus complimented this woman while rebuking religious people… Woman with issue of blood…centurion was rewarded Without faith we can’t please Him
Unbelief is without foundation Unbelief is faith in lie
