TOUGH TIMES, THICK SKIN & TENDER HEART

People and circumstances can make your life tough Enemy uses people and circumstances to attack you The same tools God is willing to use to make you stronger and more like Him

Don’t allow though times to harden your heart Heart is a like pump that sends blood throughout your body all the time Your heart is important, it’s not a spare tire in your trunk (dirty cups) Issues of life flow out of your heart (teabag) Bullet in heart kills, bullet in foot wouldn’t God looks at the heart…heart is the soil – you eat of the fruits that heart grows Stony heart can’t receive and can’t give. Jesus is the seed…you can’t receive Him cause of heart problem Heart is either temple or tomb: hosts presence or holds dead Jesus came to heal broken hearted. I will take heart of stone and give them heart of flesh

Allow tough times to thicken your skin Don’t go through tough time without growing or learning Sometimes the best growth is in the worst times of our life School for character is hardships not classroom Tough times will teach you to have faith and kill your feelings Tough times will teach you to please God

Pleasing God creates conflict (paralytic, prostitute, dried hand) When you serve people you please God, when you please people you serve your insecurity Don’t allow the spear of those whom you serve to kill you Don’t return the spear back especially when you can (Jesus on the cross)

No weapon formed against you can prosper Don’t allow the enemy to prosper by your improper response to tough times Enemy took Job’s prosperity, Job took enemies prosperity
