Sibling rivalry: Cain and Abel; Ismail and Isaac; Joseph and brothers Relationships reveal your character (water out of the cup) The reason why I react because you have issues (bad window not bad clothes) Whoever is more mature must start first (take truck out of your own eye) Virginity “Tamar was a virgin”

Angels are spirits without body; animals are body without spirit Angels don’t have sexuality, animals are ruled by it It’s not how close to the line without falling, how close to Jesus I can be (chariot) Flirt to convert “It was improper for him to have her”

Feelings compete with God’s law? (killing a dog) Strong feelings is not the same as the voice of God!!!

When infatuation is mistaken for love (I love Tamar)

Love doesn’t bring distress, infatuation does Love is not hurry, love is patient…I can’t live without you will move to I can’t stand you Love doesn’t rape – love is sacrificial, making love verses Jesus dying on the cross Love doesn’t hate – love is eternal not short When you get what you want, but it’s not what God wants, you will hate it what you got Influence verses Authority “Amnon had a friend”

Heeding the voice of friends over the voice of authority will cost you (Rebohoam) Friends that teach you to fake…crafty friends are not with you… Judas You will become who you’re around with…it’s what the flue does….leave

people with flue My parents known nothing, my friends know everything It’s doesn’t say to honor your friends but your parents…blessing comes from God (Noah) Obedience doesn’t gets rewarded, honor does.

Honor is attitude How to Fall? “Amnon and Tamar were alone”

It’s hard to sin when you’re in the community of believers They put every body out of their relationship; invite God and others in your relationship Repentance “Amnon was punished for his unrepented sin”

David did the same and didn’t die.

Saul did less and died.

Adam did less and died.

Prodigal son did more and didn’t die.

Pharisee did less.

Repentance is the key “I have no pleasure in death of the wicked but that wicked would repent” Ez.33:11

If you don’t repent you will die likewise Jesus said.

If you don’t repent you will pay
