0390 God of the Empty Tomb

John 2:18-22

Resurrection gives facts to our faith. (our faith is not blind)

Resurrection validates His death (running from someone to grave or house)

Death defeated sin, resurrection defeated death

"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up"

Destruction is sign of power of sin, resurrection is the sign of the power of God What you build for long time, enemy destroys and God restores it again

Without resurrection the only power that is active is power of sin, that destroys (Samson experienced resurrection) If Christ didn't rise from the dead we are all dead in our sins - the only power that is evident is power of sin, enemy

Without resurrection death is dead end. Death is all mighty, and has final word (Job experienced resurrection)

Resurrection is God restoring what sin destroyed (Prodigal son' resurrection - he was dead now he is alive)

The God of empty tomb - whatever dies, doesn't stay dead If something died, don't let remain in the tomb (Lazarus)

Divorce - death of marriage (stanley, hagee) Bankruptcy - death of finances (Ford, Lincoln, Larry, Disney, Trump, Schwab, Ramsey). Lukewarmness - death of passion. Religion - death of relationship. Sickness - death of health (Cho, Prince, Hagin).

Sarah's womb was dead but her faith didn't put her into a tomb - God raised her up
