For Mature Only
Pay attention to your tension
When wheels are coming off, they liked the gold. Peace rule your heart. Small with peace is better
“Is it you Lord?” Peter asked. Jesus helped him, but killed Pharaoh
Relationships is like walking on waves, up and down! Keep your eyes on Jesus, not emotions!
Break up is burning a bridge
Exit gently, as you would enter. Close doors nicely don’t slam them! Relationships for seasons some for reasons!
Be willing to invest as much as you’re willing to lose!
If you truly broke up you wouldn’t be friends. Don’t be enemies
Keeping someone in your present form your past will destroy your relationship. Plow. Lot’s wife
Reasons for not burning bridge: I don’t want to be rude, she is so cool, she has no one, I’m lonely
Date your mate
Dating should start not stop with marriage. It will produce less divorce in marriage, disappointment before marriage
If there would be more courting in marriage there would less marriages in court
In our generation maturity age is being able to view perversion, violence, porn, sex, cursing. Adult store is porn store
Relationships are R – Rated, for mature only
Male – Boy – Man – Husband – Father
Every men is a male, but not every male is a man. Male by birth, man by choice. Good men make great husbands

Appearance – mature people look mature, but looking mature doesn’t make you mature
Achievement – mature helps you accomplish a lot but reaching your goals doesn’t mean you’re mature
Academics – mature people are smart, but smart person doesn’t mean he is mature
Maturity is ATTTITUDE
It’s not what happens to you, it’s how you respond
90 is attitude of life and 10 is what happens
Attitude determines your altitude in life. Caleb had a different spirit, different attitude!
See problem in every opportunity or opportunity in every problem
Maturity is taking care of your crap. It’s how you respond to sin. Cover, blame or clean it up!
Repenting or defending when you’re corrected: David verses Saul
Getting depressed or blessed when others are promoted: Saul and John
Being best men. There will be time you will be in spot light but not always. Learn to be best men too not just the men!
Maturity is taking lemon and making lemon out of it. Knife by the handle not blame
You can control your attitude while you can’t control what happens to you
Maturity is PATIENCE
It’s never learned in classroom or received in prayer. It’s not a gift. It’s like muscle, it grows when its exercised. Everyone has it but those who exercise it have it developed
Patience is the measuring stick for love. Love is patient 1 Cor.13:4 Suffers long is patience!
You love someone to the degree that you can’t be patient with them
Patience is putting up with people you’ll like to put down
Patience is delaying gratification, but not denying it. Do what you need to do before doing what you want to do!
Lust is impatient. Lust is now, love is later! Delay your pleasures but don’t deny them
It’s about doing the right thing even if it’s hard, not doing easy thing. Not if it’s easy but it’s right?
Root of patience is bitter but it’s fruit is sweet.
Patience is keep going when the going is hard
Patience is bitter root and sweet fruit
Patience is clothing against the cold. Protects you from lots of mistakes – biggest one is quitting too soon
When you give up, you stop, you get stuck,
Giving up doesn’t stop the pain, it makes your pain permanent. When you quit – you die!
People quit thinking, my citation will never change
Moses died on the border of the promise land
Joseph was the closest when he was in the lowest place
Saul quit right before when Samuel came. If he would of quit in the beginning, it’s permissible but not at the end
Jesus’ pain wasn’t eternal, nor will yours be either
Don’t abort because of pain, goal is to birth not minimize pain
Goal is not quitting but winning
