Genesis 39:1-13

He was slave, she was a boss. He was faithful, she was immoral Hardships are not sign of sin nor is prosperity sign of holiness Job had hardship so is Jesus on the cross

Position doesn’t determine success, you do. Position/circumstances are the not the blame for lack of success Son, servant, prisoner, and pri-minister – successful at all of them If you’re not successful as son, it will be hard to be successful as employee. Career success starts at home! If you’re not successful as employee you will not be successful as CEO

Blessing comes from God being with you, not just you being with God Don’t get satisfied with just being with God. Emanuel – God with us! Pharisees were with God, God was with Jesus When God is with you – non-believers see it. When you’re with God believers see it When God is with you, super is added to your natural, it becomes SUPERNATURAL We depend too much on system and religion instead of Holy Spirit. Joseph had no Bible Moses – Elijah – Peter Let’s not be content with experiencing His presence, let’s strive for His power. You will receive POWER when His PRESENCE comes…not just PEACE but POWER for evangelism!!!

It wasn’t about sex or love, but about trap and test. Sex was the bait to lure him in (BLOOD on KNIFE) It’s as hard to live pure when you’re on the top as if you’re on the bottom…our purity makes it simple his made his life complicated…both people need to be unfaithful for sin to happen. He was more faithful as slave then she as wife He didn’t flirt, he fled (No teachings on purity, no revelation of cross, hell, Jesus, sin, no accountability) We don’t want to flee, nor do we want to fall, so the middle part is FLIRT. FLIRTING LEADS TO FALLING Grace is not excuse to flirt but power to flee. If grace makes you comfortable in sin, you’re in trap of Satan He did not know much about love of God, but had fear of God. We have everything but no fear of God Fear causes us to avoid sin – fear cause there is hell, devil, God is holy, God loved you, paid the price on the cross In order to flee you have to reject her, in order to flirt you have to reject God

His clothes changed but his love for God didn’t Every season requires different clothes. Son, servant, prisoner, & pri-minister You don’t change clothes with every season you will dry of fry Life is rollercoaster, you will be up and down but our faith has to remain the same not depended upon life Don’t let your seasons change your faith People will take your clothes, but they can’t take Holy Spirit. One day they will give you clothes but they can’t give you Holy Spirit
