Do You Glance at the Things According to Presence, 2 Corinthians 10:7
2 Corinthians 10:7
Do you glance at the things according to presence? Since someone being persuaded to himself to be of Christ, let this one reckon again on behalf of himself, that just as he is of Christ, thus also we.
Presence - Those who are before you.
Those Who Make Their Faces Show They Are Fasting, Matthew 6:16
Matthew 6:16 NKJV
“Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
Those Who Boast in Presence, 2 Corinthians 5:12
2 Corinthians 5:12
For we do not again commend ourselves to you, but give to you an occasion boasting over us, in order that you all should have facing the ones boasting in presence and not in heart.

They Should Reconsider (Reckon again)
If They are of Christ, We are Also of Christ
If Paul Boasted Concerning His Authority, 2 Corinthians 10:8

For if perhaps even I should somewhat excessively boast concerning our authority – which the Lord gave to us unto edification and not unto your tearing down, I will not be put to shame,
Excessively - That which is more or to the advantage of another

The Scribes and Pharisees Receiving the Greater Condemnation, Matthew 23:14
Matthew 23:14 NKJV
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
Paul was Given His Authority by the Lord
He is the Steward of the Dispensation, Ephesians 3:2
Ephesians 3:2 NKJV
if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

1 Corinthians 2:5 NKJV
that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Approved by God to be Entrusted With the Gospel, 1 Thessalonians 2:4
1 Thessalonians 2:4 NKJV
But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.
Paul Was Given This Authority for Edification, not Tearing Down
Paul Will Not Be Put To Shame, Not Appearing as To Frighten them Through Letters, 2 Corinthians 10:9
2 Corinthians 10:9
in order that I should not appear as to frighten you through the letters.
Some Are Saying Paul is Weak, 2 Corinthians 10:10
2 Corinthians 10:10
Because yes indeed letters, they say, are burdensome and strong, but the presence of the body is weak and the word of no account.
Paul Will Be in Presence Through Work What He States in His Letters, 2 Corinthians 10:11
2 Corinthians 10:11

Those Comparing Themselves By Themselves, 2 Corinthians 10:12-18

Paul is Not Comparing Himself With These Ones, 2 Corinthians 10:12
2 Corinthians 10:12
For we do not dare judge among or compare together ourselves with some who are commending themselves, but they measure themselves by themselves of themselves and compare themselves to themselves, not perceiving.
Dare - To undertake, undergo
The Pharisees Who Did Not Dare to Question Christ After He Question Them As To Why David calls the Messiah Lord, Matthew 22:43-46
Matthew 22:43–46 NKJV
He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool” ’? If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.
As With Paul, We Also Should Not Dare to Speak of Things Not Accomplished by Christ Through Us, Romans 15:18
Romans 15:18 NKJV
For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—
