80% - 1st grade. 20% - 5th grade. 5% - graduation Self-Esteem is CRUISE CONTROL – limits potential. Self-Esteem is LEASH – it holds you back & going in circles. Self-Esteem is GLASSES. YOU DON’T SEE THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE, YOU SEE THINGS THE WAY YOU ARE

John 1:19-23

1. I am NOT Christ (John 1:20) THERE IS GOD, YOU’RE NOT HIM You’re not in control. You don’t deserve to be worshiped. You can’t change yourself & others. I don’t judge, heal, save or deliver Sheep not shepherd. Creation, not Creator. Child, not Father. Clay, not Potter. Servant not Master. Don’t cry if you get treated like servant. Stop taking yourself too seriously. OVERCRITICISED, NOT APPRECIATED, OVERLOOKED God will let you be who you are, when you let Him be Who He is! Not created to be worshipped but to worship!

2. I am NOT Elijah (John 1:21) BEFORE YOU CAN KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU HAVE KNOW WHO YOU’RE NOT! Second step is in not trying to be someone else. You can’t be yourself if you’re trying to be someone else Don’t give up who you are to fit in. You are to stand out, not fit in! It’s better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you’re not. Homosexuality. Don’t confuse sin with identity Don’t trade moment of fame for lifetime of victory!

3. I am VOICE (John 1:23) I AM WHO THE BIBLE SAYS I AM I am not just John, son of Zachariah. God’s word defines me, not clothing or diet or status. God formed you, not spoke you. In His image. Blessed you & you can multiply & have dominion. You are good. “more than conqueror” “wonderfully and fearfully made” “I can do all things” “If God is for me who can stand against me” “Greater is He Who lives in me” “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” “I give you the power” “Nothing can separate me from God’s love” “I am new creation in Christ” “Sons through faith in Jesus” “I am light” “Ambassador” “man of valor (fearlessness, courage, bravery, boldness)” “warrior” “loved” “forgiven” “new creation” “in Christ”

Identity is my position, don’t confuse it with your condition. Trees without leaves, condition but it’s still tree. Baby is still the son. Seated in heavenly places with Christ above all powers & principality.

Voice to speak to God (PRAYER), to speak about God (PRAISE), to speak from God (PROCLAMATION) Little faith speaks to God, big faith speaks to devil

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Let the weak say I am strong. Confess with your mouth. Fill your mouth with faith, not fear. Testimonies not trails & temptations & tribulations
