Shake It Off

Acts 28:1-9

Acts 27:9-12 God’s time is the best time, your time doesn’t matter. You can avoid many storms by waiting. Abraham didn’t. Saul didn’t. Jesus did (4 times). Disciples did. Those who wait will soar. Wait before you date. Don’t buy what you don’t need with money you don’t have to impress people you don’t like. Love is patient, lust is not. Maturity is delaying gratification, not denying it. True love waits – you’re so in lust! Acts 27:13-24 Behind this building there is world, window opens to us that realm. Word of God reveals a glimpse into the spiritual world to show us who we are fighting against & for. Wind is spiritual realm. You can’t see it but you can’t deny it. Captain of ship led your family into this. Wind is not friendly, kills, & destroys. Speak to it! God was speaking everyday! Abraham was called everyday! Speak to your mountain not about it!

Acts 27:33-38 Position of forgiveness not fighting against people who hurt us. Feed, don’t fight. Unforgiveness sends you to hell, and brings hell to you. Jesus forgave on cross. Joseph forgave in jail. Lord’s Prayer Matt.6:9-13. Paul in India. Father with 5 children. If enemy is hungry feed him, don’t avoid him. Acts 27:26 It’s NOT what you lose in the storm but where you land after it. Water could not hold you, God’s promise can. You have to hold yourself in water, ground holds you. Word is solid. Don’t hold on to it, let it hold you. Put your weight on it. I don’t carry promises, they carry me. Don’t perform. Earn acceptance.

Acts 28:1-2 Build fire not ship. Use wood to build fire not just a ship. Let’s not let rain – busyness stop us from building fire. It’s never good time to build fire, still build it. Proper foundation without fire will make you into Freezer. When you build fire, God will take care of your ship.

Snakes can’t stay in the fire. They will come out. Don’t fear snakes, don’t pet them, throw them info fire God wants to shake nations and islands but you have to shake off the snake into fire. DONKEY!

Shake off condemnation of the past Don’t listen to what say about you. Idolize or demonize. Alcohol seeks alcohol, people pleasure seeks approval. Disease to please. Don’t fear snakes, shake them off into fire Before you can shake nations, you have to shake off some dust. Shake off dust after rejection of city. When you spread other people’s dirt around, it will weight you down. Love covers sin, not spreads it

Grant Williams chose an unusual pet. The 19-year-old from the Bronx bought a python for $300. It turned out to be a bad decision. Williams was found dead of asphyxiation in the hallway outside his apartment. A neighbor found him lying in a pool of blood, with the 13-foot snake wrapped around his neck. It had turned on him, taking his life. Williams had decided to feed his pet a live chicken. Experts say the 44-pound python must have gone wild over the scent, attacked its owner, and mistaken his master for his meal.
