Directions to Destiny Part 2
Instead of looking for destiny, position yourself where destiny can find you
David was obeying parents, not praying to be a king
If you are too big for sheep, you are too small for the throne
Charisma starts, character sustains
Charisma takes up, character keeps you there
Character is rock, gift without it is balloon
Chemistry is gasoline, character is wood
Reputation is who you suppose to be; character is who you are.
Reputation is the photo; character is the face.
Reputation is made in a moment; character is built in a lifetime.
Reputation makes you rich or poor; character makes you happy or miserable
Those who fight against!
Those who fight for!
Those for whom God fights!
This battle is not mine! I'm not fighting because you insulted me but my God
When you know you are, you know who you are not
It's better to be rejected for who you are than accepted for who you are not
I'm not dressed to impress; I'm dressed for success
Before you can smile, you might be laughed at
Saul dressed David. God dressed David
God will never stop your enemy from laughing at you, but He will never let him kill you
Desire for success is bigger than fear of rejection
The path of victory is the cross....enemy will not have he last laugh
Jesus died in hands of people pleaser...
You cannot defeat your opponent with weapons you have tried
You cannot fight with God whom you did not taste
David's first victory was in choosing right weapon, Gods Armor
David have tried God in similar situations and found Him very reliable, trustworthy, real, genuine, authentic, well founded, well grounded
Goliath naturally stood better chance of victory, but spiritually David was superior, because he was on the Lord side
Your success is some else's test
Success can cost your life (Abel)
Not everyone can live in success (Jesus)
Success makes people like you who never did
Success makes people hate you who liked you before
You can be king and very insecure. Beauty can't cure insecurity
The most miserable person is he whose identity is attached to position
David is the reason why I feel so miserable (John is in prison - hero in Gods eyes)
Comparing is an open door for torment
David came as musician not as a king. Right place, wrong position
Joseph came to palace as a slave, not a pri-minister
Jesus came on earth as human, not king
David was good at removing stress from king, not bringing stress to him
People who get promoted in the palace are people who are able to remove problems; people who are removed from the palace are people who bring problems
Cancer or crown: one gets removed, another gets promoted
