Reading of the Letter

As a part of the Child Dedication I’ve asked each of the parents to write a letter to their child, to be opened on their 18th Birthday.

This morning I’d like them to read these letters to you

Intro and Giving of the Child

As we get started this morning, we have the great pleasure in dedicating these 3 young lives, and their parents to the Lord.

Believing that Thomas, Brody Leo is gift from God and that God will hold you accountable for him.

Do you now want to dedicate your child to the Lord, and to His service?

Individual Declaration

Will you faithfully follow your God-given responsibilities to raise your child?

Will you pray with and for and instruct HIM/HER as they grow in faith and knowledge of God.

Will you live lives that are an example of God’s Grace, Mercy towards __________.

Will you listen carefully when your child prays. Listening for their deepest needs, wants

Will you do all that that is within you to lead your child to a decision for Christ.

Let’s pray!

God you wonderfully and perfectly made this children for your pleasure. You have given these young lives to their parents for growing and safekeeping.

We pray as they grow they will become interested in the things of God and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We thank you for your Grace and Mercy with which we could not live in one more day
