It’s my third trip there…we offered sacrifice as church and received instructions!
Mentor can’t make me hear God but can tune me in to discern how to!
For example: reading Bible!!!
New image of how church should be!
David could not conquer Goliath without an image of victory inside.
Israel did not dare to face him because of bad image of defeat.
David gave Goliath a stone to the head and new image to the Israel head.
David’s mind was not filled with images of victory because he was special but because of things he was exposed to.
Muntyan’s story of Fourth Dimension about WIFE!!!
Information becomes revelation.
Revelation brings transformation.
Holy Spirit takes water and turns it into wine.
The only that is permanent in life is God, everything else is temporary.
Pitch a tent, build an altar Genesis 13:18
Father of faith, prosperous man had this trade - pitching and building!
Build an altar speaks of the cross (person) but it’s also a principle.
God met with Abraham on the ground of sacrifice.
In the garden God said “this tree is mine” - sacrifice.
Noah offered it after flood. Gideon did. Israel did awhile entering promise land. Saul when God wanted to establish him. David when plague came. Solomon when he became king.
God is not competing with satan for your affections but with money. Matthew 6:23
Sacrifices are directed by Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit will use someone as inspiration - for Mary he used Elizabeth.
If you are surrounded by people who don’t live sacrificial life, you are most likely never be directed by Holy Spirit to live that life either.
First apostolic church - people sacrificed…EVERYTHING. Well, why was this necessary if Jesus already paid it all.
Person who starts to sacrifice does not have to be afraid of vultures.
Doubting thoughts, fear, anxiety, reasonings…urgent needs screaming for attention…unfavorable circumstances.
In the garden - were vultures.
With Noah - not much left.
With Israel - first city - and we destroy it.
Saul - it’s a waste to not take it.
Servant of Elisha - I could do so much with it.
Judas - good opportunity to make money.
Ananais - I will give half anyway.
*Ticket and Lana phone and house…
*Story of people being killed - BE FAITHFUL TILL THE END.
Sacrifice was not one time deal for Abraham.
If you will live a life of sacrifice, you will be poor and miserable.
The very thing that Abraham was sacrificial in, Hebrews were known to have abundance in.
Though without church, Bible, pastor, podcast, christian books, Abraham enjoyed rich relationship with God that most only dream of today and that relationship became foundation for a nation and Christianity.
You reap what you sow.
You reap where you sow.
You reap after you sow.
You reap more than you sow.
