Luke 19:9-10

Two collectors.

Three reactions: judgment, ignoring, seeking.

1. Jesus sees beyond the pain people create to the pain they carry.

***We see evil people, Jesus sees evil in people.

***Amount of hurt he gives reveals amount of hurt he has.

***Kid seeing his father. Young man being molested

2. When we reject someone when they do the unthinkable, we will not see the day when they will do the impossible.

***Saul is breathing threats…Ananias was rebuked. Murder became myrter.

***Judging, ignoring will not work - seeking will.

3. Don’t tell the lost to “get lost”. (Bus story)

***We see sinners as criminals, not as lost.

Devils tactics:

***People close to Jesus as not like Jesus. Bad hair cut. Krispy creme. Anna Example!

***Your shortcoming should not stop you.

1. Jesus was hanging on the cross, so that you can hide in the cross.

Surrender not strive. Higher but not taller.
