BITTER WATERS SWEETENED

“Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them.” Exodus 15:23-26

2. Better life through salvation

3. Best life - service

Bitter Life

Satan wants to poison you against God

⁃ Adam - God is not that good

⁃ Job - God is punishing you

⁃ Israel - God has forsaken you

Satan’s aim is to show God in bad light and then show you in bad light.

Satan will rewrite the Bible “He gives, Jesus takes”

Better Life

There is one weapon that dismantles devils lies - it’s the blood of Jesus!

If you want to be sure that God is good look at the Calvary!

Jesus said “I came to give life - zoe”

Fur that animal gives is not like when chicken gives an egg.

*God has many names but only 7 redemptive names.

*These 7 names are never used in the Scriptures except in His dealings with man.

*His redemption covers the whole scope of human need.

Jesus was condemned - Jehovah Tsidkenu. Jer.23:6

Jesus was rejected - Jehovah Shammah. Ez.48:35

Jesus was in pain - Jehovah Rapha. Ex.15:26

Jesus was bound - Jehovah Nissi. Ex.17:8-15

Jesus wore crown of thorns - Jehovah Shalom. Judg.6:24

Jesus gave his life - Jehovah Raah. Ps.23:1

Jesus suffered lack - Jehovah Jireh. Gen.22:13-14
