Deliverance as a Lifestyle
1 Corinthians 1:9-10 “Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,”
Sentence of death! Death is longest, strongest enemy! Abraham, Woman with money issue!
Learn not to trust in ourselves! What you see, feel, looks like it’s not over!
Trust in God who raises the DEAD! He ruined funerals! Jesus calls SLEEP, what you call DEAD. He is not just helping me carry, bury but raise the dead!
***until you lose trust in yourself, you will not know how to trust in God!
Raising us from the dead, by delivering us from the dead!
1 Samuel 17:37 “Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”
1. Deliverance is not an event, it's a process
Deliverance is for the past, present and future (Egypt, 4 more stones)
Probably not going to get all your freedom in one day! (Few loads)
Deliverance is not about manifestation but revelation!
It’s not just for you but through you!
2. God delivers when one fights, not when one flees.
Your battle is always bigger than you.
Paul said wage war according to the prophesies given you to.
God did not give what was promised but what they fought for.
How many people Jesus healed who sat in their house?
Discipline, preparing yourself, promise to God!!!!
3. When we don’t fight our enemy, we end up hurting our friends
When we ignore spiritual war, we end up fighting each other (Cain and Abel)
David begins to lose private battles, after refusing fight public ones.
David fights those whom he should fight with.
