While not persuaded by recent attempts to discover an overarching structure to the book of Psalms, I do agree that there are some intentional placements of certain psalms, particularly at the beginning and the end of the book. Psalms 1 and 2 serve as an introduction, and Psalms 146–150 are a fitting conclusion to the book of Psalms conceived as a literary sanctuary.
