0826 Forgotten God - Baptizer in the Holy Spirit

Three baptisms Hebrews 6:1-2. Baptism of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.12:13), water baptism, and baptism into the Holy Spirit. This happened in Jerusalem, Samaria, and Ephesus. Three witnesses: water, blood, Spirit (1 John 5:7). Israel was baptized into sea, Moses and Cloud (1Cor.10:2)

Holy Spirit with you before salvation (John 14:17)

Holy Spirit is in you at salvation (John 20:22)

Holy Spirit is upon you for salvation of others (Acts 1:8)

The Holy Spirit makes the difference

Joseph wisdom to rule, Bezalel craftsmanship, 70 elders prophesied, Gideon won, Saul prophesied, Samson defeated, David overcame, Mary conceived without connections, Jesus preached healed delivered, disciples shook the world

Moses said, “I wish all of God’s people would prophesy and God will put His Spirit upon them” Num.11:29

Jesus was born, filled, led, empowered, assisted, anointed, resurrected, thought, prayed for, and sends Spirit Father promised His spirit will be poured out on ALL flesh (elders, kings, priests, judges)

John being greatest prophet asked for this BAPTISM (Matthew 3:14)

Least in the kingdom is greater than he (Matthew 11:11)

Don’t reduce the fullness of this experience to one manifestation

Coming of the Holy Spirit is more than tongues, it’s power!

Anytime Holy Spirit becomes inwardly focused

Power is for world impact, not inward focused

Depth will continue as I maintain unbroken focus on dying and broken world

Deep and weird if you turn your back on broken people! Moses and Peter! Every experience that is turning you away from the lost is questionable.

If my passion for God does not enlarge my compassion for lost, my passion should be questioned! Don’t sit and wait for more power to do what you can do now with power you already got!

Baptism is more than tongues, it’s power

Power is to release kingdom of heaven on the earth
