0834 Spiritual Warfare - Stand to Withstand

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Spiritual Strategy

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Ephesians 6:10

1. Being STRONG is a command, not an option (Joshua 1:6, 7, 9)

God is with you, He is in you. You have more reason to be strong.

Resist the devil being firm in your faith 1 Peter 1:9

Strong is the quality of mind which enables one to meet danger and difficulties with firmness, valor.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

2. Fight battles with SPOIL only and don’t be distracted with battles that have no reward.

You have to DEFEAT the devil to DIVIDE his spoil. Matthew 12:29

Moses 2 kings, Joshua 31 kings. Half defeat, other half divide.

A bulldog can beat a skunk, but is it worth the fight?

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13

3. STRATEGY of satan is to use the evil day to make you an evil person.

SPIRITUAL armor does not protect you from evil day but from becoming evil person

a. Put on HELMET OF SALVATION, take off HAT OF CONDEMNATION. (Isaiah 59:17)

b. Don’t lose your INTEGRITY during an evil day.

c. You can only walk in freedom according to your ability to be TRUTHFUL. (John 8;32)

d. Peace is not natural during an evil day, so put it on like shoes. (Philippians 4:6-7)

e. Act as though God’s word is true.

f. On the evil day, you find the SPIRIT in the SWORD. (Hebrews 4:12)

4. STAND to WITHSTAND.

You win not only by advancing but by not going backwards.
