The Coming Anointing
Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them.” Now the temple was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there—about three thousand men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed. Judges 16:26-27
So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life. Judges 16:30
1. Samson was Gods gift to a prayerless generation - Prayer prepares you for what God has prepared for you. God sent Samson but there was no prayer, therefore Samson was not embraced by the people he was sent to! Prayer does not just prepare an answer, it prepares us for that answer! What’s the point of praying? God will do what He will do!!! Will you be apart of it? Prayer prepares you for what God has prepared for you. Socrates – when you want knowledge as you have just wanted air, then you will have knowledge
2. Samson was appointed and anointed Church was anointed and consecrated! God’s requirement is anointing, not education! He was anointed to deliver His generation!
3. Samson went against the gates – gates of hell could not prevail against the Church (Mt.16:18)
4. Samson send foxes to the fieldsChurch releases revivalists
5. Samson killed with jawboneChurch wins with their mouth God wants to use your mouth to destroy the enemy and win the generation
6. Samson compromised and lost his anointing Church went through dark ages (Constantine faced Western Roman Emperor Maxentius at the Tiber River's Mulvian Bridge in A.D. 312. Constantine saw a flaming cross in the sky bearing the words "in this sign thou shalt conquer." The next year Constantine, now the Western Roman Emperor, and Eastern Roman Emperor Licinius signed the Edict of Milan, which finally ensured religious tolerance for Christians. The agreement granted freedom of worship to all, regardless of deity, and brought an end to the Age of Martyrs, which had begun after Jesus' death. Christians were also given specific legal rights such as the return of confiscated property and the right to organize dedicated churches.) He was trying to be like the world!!!
7. Samson was bound, blind and went in circles – Church was without vision, power and in religion We are the BODY, Jesus is the HEAD, Holy Spirit is the HAIR
8. Samson’s hair started to grow – God started to restore message and power to the Church
9. Samson was led by a childYouth will play a role in last day revival Youth led the first revival and they will lead the last revival Our mission is deliverance for a generation and destruction for the enemy
10. Samson had the greatest victory at the end of his life - God is bringing the greatest revival in the last days
Not alone….not just attacking philistines but the lords of philistines….shake the pillars victory achieved in the spiritual victory!!!
The end shall come after GOSPEL is preached!!! not after Anti Christ is born!!! These crazies are waiting on us!
Gospel will be preached to all the world than the end will come (Matthew 24:14) In the last days God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17-21) Darkness has covered the earth but the Lord will rise over you (Isaiah 60:1-3) The glory of this latter temple will be greater than the glory of the former (Haggai 2:9) The stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth (Daniel 2:35) The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God (Habbukah 2:14) Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more (Romans 5:20)
