Suffering of a slaves | Struggling of a survivor | Success of a soldier
Desperation got me out of suffering but only desire can get me out of surviving. Pain fueled my desperation. Prophetic word fuels my desire.
“The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain…See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers..’ Deuteronomy 1:5-10
What did God promise you? Abraham - nations. Joseph - position. Jesus - nations. Peter - fisher of man.
Receiving a prophecy is like getting a canoe
Believing a prophecy is like standing in a canoe!
Praying the prophecy is using paddle sticks.
Process of Prayer
Praise to God Penance from sin Partnership with Holy Spirit Paddling promises Petitions
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme 1 Timothy 1:18
If you are too busy to pray, you are too busy. Stop swimming, start paddling. Change place and pace of your prayer.
Don’t park prophetic words in the garage of spiritual experiences. Pray out of promises, not only out of problems.
Promises will make you dry and help you drive.
God still speaks today (Matthew 4:4).
